100,000 SQ FT TELFORD FACTORY ACQUISITION Pooks Commercial Property Consultants, acting on behalf of a London based business support company, have negotiated the acquisition of Cirrus Building, Stafford Park 1, Telford, Shropshire one of the largest factory/warehouse units in the town. Totalling about 9,500 sq m (102,000 sq ft) with offices, car park and expansion land on a total site of about 1.88 ha (4.64 acres), the property will be used as a new packing and distribution depot by the buyer's customers. The property was for sale at a price of around £3m. Charles Howell of Pooks, who negotiated the purchase on behalf of the buyers, said "Telford as a location gives our client's customers a convenient base for distribution throughout the UK, with the benefit of a good supply of suitable premises and labour". The property was sold by Telford based agents Andrew Dixon and Company on behalf of the building's owners, Morley Fund Management Limited. Joint selling agents were King Sturge of Birmingham.
