Steven Evans of Pooks Commercial Property Consultants of Shrewsbury reports a number of recent lettings at Claremont House, Claremont Bank, Shrewsbury, an imposing Georgian Grade II listed building, which was originally constructed as a vicarage for the adjacent St. Chad’s Church.

The premises have since been converted to provide office accommodation on four floors and basement level. Many of the original period features have been retained and the property enjoys an elevated position with fine views over the town and is only metres away from the Quarry Park. The premises also benefit from having car parking for 33 vehicles.

The ground floor has been let to Marches Care Ltd who operate The Uplands at Oxon. The first floor suite has been taken by specialist personal injury lawyers, Howard Shah Solicitors and the second floor suite is now occupied by Starfish Advertising & Marketing Ltd who have relocated from Wolverhampton. All three suites, which were refurbished prior to occupation, have been let on new six year leases.

Steven Evans commented “With the letting of the basement suite also in solicitors’ hands, this only leaves the third floor vacant, which enjoys spectacular views over the town and surrounding countryside. Totalling about 758 sq ft, the suite of three rooms is available at a rent of £8,000 per annum. On-site parking can also be arranged by separate negotiation”. Steven also commented “Tenants have been attracted by the quality of the premises and their location, together with the availability of car parking. The offices have been refurbished to a high standard and there is no service charge to pay. Any interested parties would be advised to contact me as soon as possible”.
