The Shropshire Food Enterprise Park at Battlefield, Shrewsbury, is now being developed by PxP West Midlands, the new joint venture between Advantage West Midlands and Langtree Group Plc, backed by Bank of Scotland.
Working with Shropshire County Council and Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, PxP will offer factory and business space for the food and drink sectors, either for sale or lease. Fully serviced land for individual development by food production companies is also available.
PxP have appointed Shrewsbury based Pooks Commercial Property Consultants and King Sturge of Birmingham, to deal with enquiries on this major 8 ha (20 acre) development on the northern side of the town which will eventually provide hundreds of jobs across a wide range of food and drink sectors.
Olly Higgens, Senior Development Manager with PxP said "Shropshire Food Park is ideally placed for food production companies given its proximity to the surrounding rural areas, local expertise in food manufacturing, and good access to the West Midlands".
Charles Howell of Pooks added "Our clients can offer a wide range of space options from small factory units to lease, up to bespoke production facilities on individual plots".
