Pooks Chartered Surveyors have been extensively involved in residential property management in the Shrewsbury and Shropshire area for over a century and presently act for over 400 individual clients, many with substantial property holdings. We leave house sales to our sister company, Cooper Green, enabling us to concentrate exclusively on residential lettings, property management, building surveying and commercial property matters.

As a member firm of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, we are bound by the Institution's stringent Code of Practice, including holding professional indemnity insurance cover, and separate professionally audited client accounts which are fully bonded. In addition we are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) who likewise expect all members to observe a strict code of conduct.

We trust that this will provide peace of mind when letting such a valuable asset. We feel that our experience is invaluable to landlords and whilst we cannot guarantee the conduct of tenants during their tenancy, our care in the selection of suitable tenants and our commitment to acting in our clients' best interest will ensure that the risks associated with property letting are kept to a minimum.

Our residential lettings and management department has a staff of 8 and is run under the close supervision of 2 of the firm's partners.
